Day 16 - Lazy day anime.

So, an update on Book Crawler - as an app I think it works well except it only gave you a certain amount of space before sending you to the paid app. I don't want to spend money on an app that isn't necessary or that I can live without. I tried a couple of other apps but in the end I think using Google Sheets offline is best for keeping track of my books - I also have a photo album on my iPad so I can see the books I own at a glance. Much easier and cheaper.

I have also been checking out books to buy and thinking about merchandise I might want to put a bid in for - I am also really starting to think about ways that I could maybe make more money this year. I started writing a BL novel and thought it might be fun to see if I could complete it. That might be something I focus on in my spare time.

I spent today lazily, mainly because I had a growing list of new anime to watch and catch up with. At this time (anime season transition), I often wonder about how much time I spend on watching anime and then I wonder what I am going to do with all the extra time I have when I don't find anything I particularly want to watch.

So far I am enjoying the slashyness of a lot of this season's anime. Obviously, Fudanshi is a big one this season. As is Handa-kun, as I loved Barakamon - in fact I might just go back and re-watch it.

I started Orange but to be honest the main female character and the indecision she portrays is too much for me. It is the one type of story which I don't enjoy even if all the other parts are enjoyable - regretting past actions and inactions are difficult to reconcile yourself to and I don't enjoy that feeling. Also - if she just got one letter - didn't she just read the whole thing? And if she was writing to herself wouldn't she put it at the top of the letter - hey don't invite him because..... - It's stupid.

I watched Servamp and its fluffy not really something to get actively excited about. Saiki Kusou is funny and short so I am enjoying it. Mononokean is also looking interesting but not as emotional or humorous as it could be. But my three probable must watch animes are Battery - because I love baseball anime! Cheer Danshi - so many boys! and Days - A sports anime I can get my teeth stuck into!

If there are any more I will mention them here.
