Day 10 - Further news on Libre situation.
I have been looking further into the Libre publishing versus June/DMI publishing situation and what has been said from both camps. As usual ANN (Anime News Network) have some interesting articles - and when I say interesting I mean not exactly journalistic but fairly to the point if you can read between the lines. What is really interesting is the forum posts attached to the articles. If you like see them here:

I have been very dismayed by June manga and have discussed many of the issues I had with them with my friends. I finally feel vindicated by reading this forum. It seemed to me that June manga had unrealistic expectations about their customers. As though, as customers, we should be grateful that there is a company that is willing to publish yaoi in English for us to buy so we should forgive the absolutely shoddy business model and ethos that they work with. But this is 2016, the world is a different place from what it was in 2008!
It is time June and DMI Publishing etc etc etc and whatever other 'publishing' sub-company they want to go by, is just not providing what customers want and by the way you need to actually publish something to be an actual publishing company!!!
The fact that it took a year and a half extra to get the 2nd volume of Does the flower blossom? even though I had pre-ordered it 6 months before the original publication date - I really hadn't expected to wait that long! Will other Japanese publishers follow Libre's example or will they stick with June? That's what I want to know!
