Day 11 - Updates - Raising a bat!

I usually check for scanlated updates everyday - today's heartbreak feels award goes to Raising a Bat. I purchase a lot of manga both English and Japanese, so I consider myself a fairly ethical fan. However, I have been able to enjoy so much more manga due to the amazing efforts of scanlators - many who just do it for the love of the manga they work on. I have been introduced to so many great mangakas work due to these scanlations. I then have been happier to hear that they will be published in English and have bought them as soon as they were published to add to the Japanese version I already own. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is a prime example, and Ten Count will be eagerly purchased when it is released. The latest one I am really excited about is Nekota Yonezou's Treat me gently (Hidoku Shinaide). I often check her Twitter account as she posts a lot. She has posted pictures of what will be released in this summer's Comiket. I will definitely try to get it, probably from Yahoo Auctions Japan - or I might try to see if an online shop will do it. 

I also love that she posts pictures of her dogs - they are so cute!
