Day 46 - I Caved!

I just couldn't resist and just had to put in a bid for the Nekota Yonezou goods set. What I really love is the leather coffee cup slip. It was released in two colours. I would love to have one of each. I need to wait till I hear back from my proxy buyer to see if I was successful or not, however I think I got it! The final cost was less than my upper bid.

I was wondering how people felt about proxy buyers? And also online auction sites? Isn't it difficult to be a yaoi fan and not be able to easily purchase the things you want and love?

I know some Japanese mangaka have expressed dislike for such practices. I wonder why there has not been a more concerted business effort to help foreign yaoi fans support the mangakas that they love. Anyway, as long as it is the only way to get the goods and doujinshi that we love, are we going to do anything different? No.
